Sales Conditions and Terms
My mother and I have invested years of loving care into our Pomeranians. Our puppies are socialized from birth. Our babies are happy and well-adjusted who love to play. We are inspected kennels by Missouri State, USDA, and AKC and are in complete compliance with animal care regulations, conditions, and paperwork policies. Our kennels are cleaned daily and we “spring clean” every three to four weeks. The environment is controlled in our facilities, keeping them in the 70-degree range year-round. Our babies have warm, clean blankets and toys to play with and chew on. Our Pomeranians are treated monthly for heartworms as soon as they are old enough and are wormed regularly. They are also UTD on Parvo vaccinations. Our babies also get their teeth cleaned by a vet once a year after they turn one. They are dear to our hearts and are loved and cared for consistently.
For the puppy’s first full year, we GUARANTEE our puppies to be in good health at the time of sale, free from any life-threatening congenital defects/infectious disease (ie: Heart, Kidney, Lung failure, Parvo, etc.). Everything possible has been done to keep each and every puppy/dog healthy and happy on our premises.
This guarantee is valid for three days once in our buyer’s care, but they MUST have their puppy into a vet within three business days of possession to continue the health guarantee for one year’s duration. Send us the documentation as your proof.
**If the vet finds a life-threatening (congenital) condition present, you AGREE TO NOTIFY US THE SAME DAY as your initial vet visit, and we will replace your puppy with one (as soon as one is available) of equal or lesser value upon return of the original puppy, reg. papers, and written documentation and reports from the examining vet to us.
**The buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and any/all vet expenses.
**If the buyer neglects to have the puppy checked by a certified veterinarian within THREE business days of arrival, ALL GUARANTEES ARE NULL AND VOID. Make sure to send a copy of your vet check as proof
We will have the puppy examined and checked by a licensed vet for overall health. A signed health certificate will be provided within ten days of shipping.
We DO NOT GUARANTEE: the ability to breed, size, coat color or consistency, confirmation, or disposition of the puppy at maturity. (We will provide a guestimate of adult size based on the weigh chart, parents’ weights, and the history of what our dogs produce.) This health guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, giardia, allergies, respiratory infections, luxating patellas, internal/external parasites or any other nonlife-threatening conditions (ones that can be prevented OR traits that are not life threatening) once the puppy has left our care. Diseases contracted due to lack of diligence of vaccinations once they have left our care are also not covered **Hypoglycemia (sugar shock) prevention is the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend Nutrical or similar product (Karo Syrup) to be kept on-hand (especially with Poms under two pounds at eight weeks) – In cases these products are not on hand, safe-for-dogs peanut butter mixed with honey or Karo Syrup will suffice until Nutrical can be purchased. All dogs (even if purchased for show) are sold as pet quality. We do not guarantee the ability to show in the ring.
If you purchase a puppy from us, you are agreeing to our policy and terms concerning our puppy contract (listed here) and guarantees! Purchase price includes: available (but specified) puppy of your choice. (Once you choose your puppy, you are “locked in” to that puppy – no switching after money has been received without forfeiting the already-paid funds); AKC registration paperwork (or if Pick of Litter breeding contractual puppy, registration paperwork of different registries); vet check with health certificate signed by our vet prior to shipping; UTD worm prevention, vaccinations (EIGHT WEEK puppies will have two parvo shots at six and eight weeks, and a Bordetella – “Kennel Cough” vaccination – unless very small – then we delay shots by our vet’s recommendation), and if applicable, any medical treatment records. We also try to give prevention care before the puppy leaves our care: Giardia (Metro for five days), Coccidia (Albon for five days), and the babies are weaned at least one week before shipping/leaving.
Our operating business hours are 8:30 a.m. Central Standard Time to 8:30 p.m. If you need a time other than this to pick up your baby, we must be informed (and agree) in writing no later than two days before the date of pick up. BFF and Prayer Paw Puppies assume no financial responsibility after the Pomeranian leaves the premises.
This includes but is not limited to: medical expenses, landlords' disapproval, allergy to animals, mortality, disagreement of family or spouse, or any other reason except congenital birth defect causing death (in which you will receive a replacement puppy of equal or lesser value).
If, for some reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you agree to contact the owner the contract was made with, and that you will not make any defamation statements
about Prayer Paw Puppies, BFF Puppies, or any owner/worker/family member related to the business, even if things are not worked out to your satisfaction. (A defamatory statement is a statement that is made with the intention to harm our reputation or the reputation of our business(es).)

Any animal bought from this seller will require a non-refundable deposit of $250 for a HOLD DEPOSIT SERVICE which is applied toward the total purchase. The specified puppy is being placed with XXX AKC registration. ALL PUPPIES MUST BE AT LEAST TWO POUNDS OR 12 WEEKS AT SHIPPING/PICK UP TIMES. This is for the puppy’s health. They must also be weaned and eating hard food regularly a week prior to leaving our premises. If the puppy is to ship before ten weeks of age, we will need full cleared payment one week (minimum) in advance to the ship date. We need time to arrange the flight, take the puppy in for a health exam, etc.
SECOND HOLD DEPOSIT SERVICE: AT NINE WEEKS, we will offer a second option to buy additional time to hold your puppy if you need it. A second nonrefundable hold deposit of $250 can be purchased at nine weeks to hold the puppy until 12 week), It is also applied toward moneys owed. IF WE ARE NOT INFORMED OF NEEDING MORE TIME by one week in advance (by puppy’s 9th week birthday) for the need to purchase a second hold deposit, then this offer is extracted. The request must be submitted in writing one week in advance – when the puppy turns nine weeks or before. There will still be the additional $50 charge to cover the rabies/3rd parvo.
*For puppies kept ten weeks and over, we require the purchase of the $25 microchip fee because we must identify weaned puppies and operate within the kennel laws. For puppies held after eleven weeks of age, we also require an additional fee of $50 to pay for any required vaccinations (third Parvo and Rabies).
***ONLY IF APPROVED BY SELLER IN WRITING and there are VERY special circumstances will we hold puppies for more than 12 weeks. There is an additional charge of $20 a week beyond the first 12 weeks for puppies remaining with us. We must pay for additional worming, care, cleaning, food, and space needed. We sell puppies at eight weeks and do not plan to accommodate puppies older than this. If it is the seller’s recommendation to hold the puppy, the fees for holding puppies longer than 12 weeks ($20/week) can be negotiated. The buyer is still responsible for the $25 microchip and the $50 rabies fee (lf the puppy must be shipped commercially).
****Your puppy must be PAID IN FULL by the time it is TEN weeks old (or 12 weeks if second hold deposit is purchased – see above). If it is not paid for in full by that time, we will relist the puppy, and you WILL NOT BE REFUNDED ANY MONEYS paid for hold deposits.
*LIMITED PAPERS OR NO PAPERS CLAUSE: If we sell a puppy with “Limited Papers”, we will not release the papers / application and/or complete the transfer until proof of spay or neuter of sold puppy (identified below) is provided by a DVM veterinarian. We recommend at least three to four months of age (minimum of two pounds but prefer four – this is usually around 4-5 months) before sterilization for males and older for females (or as your vet recommends). If you buy a puppy with limited papers, you will not receive the application unless the spay/neuter proof is given.
--FOR BOTH LIMITED PURCHASES AND FOR PURCHASES FOR DOGS WITHOUT PAPER: If, at a later date, the buyer decides he/she’d like full papers (providing there is nothing that would make the dog unfit), the difference between limited (0R non-papered price) and full price for puppy can be paid. Then full rights application will be released to purchaser. IF an AKC application (full rights) are purchased at a later date, an additional $XXX.00 will be due before the papers will be sent. IF the puppy is a very small female, a DVM vet must provide proof that the female is a minimum of 4.5 pounds before breeding rights will be given. *The buyer must also realize there could be late fee penalties that accumulate with delayed registration on the purchased puppy with the American Kennel Club.

We feed Diamond Naturals – small breed puppy (white bag with dark blue writing). You can purchase this in a feed (farm supply) store, possibly a pet store, or on-line. We recommend feeding this and mixing to the food brand you prefer to prevent more stress to your baby. Mix lighter then heavier for a couple of weeks before switching entirely. We also free feed our dogs. They have hard food in front of them at all times.
